Tulip Bloom Dress (Part 1)

Editorial Photoshoot

This was a fun weekend! Like really fun. A lot of anticipation working with a couple of models wearing the dress, but it was well worth it. The weather was kind enough not to rain on us, but we went from cold and windy on Saturday at Fort Fremont, to chilly with a lot of gnats on Sunday at Old Sheldon Ruins. Here are a few of the images from our shoot with Kelsi, in the studio, and at Old Sheldon Ruins.

Canon 5d MKIII w/ Sigma 35mm f1.4

This was the image I had in mind when doing all the planning. I love it when I'm able to create what I envision. The dress is available from Dream Shoot Rentals. Kelsi was a champ dealing with the gnats and chilly weather. Kratos, her doberman, was an exceptionally happy boy just being there.

This is a re-edit of the image I shared on Facebook, much prefer the tones in this one.

Gorgeous head shots of Kelsi in the studio. Hair and makeup for Kelsi by Jennifer Dick. This amazing dres is available from Dream Shoot Rentals. Make sure to click on the images so you can check them out in the light box.

As always I try to get a few bts in there...

Here's a preview of what we got Saturday. Stay tuned for Part 2 of this and thanks for checking it out!
